Netflix's live-action adaptation of Haro Aso's suspense manga series 'Alice in Borderland' has kicked off its final trailer on November 18, 2020. Alice in Borderland starring Kento Yamazaki and Tao Tsuchiya is scheduled to be available on December 10, 2020 in over 190 countries worldwide.
Alice in Borderland story started after a video-game-obsessed young man Ryōhei Arisu(Alice) played by Kento Yamazaki and two of his friends Karube(Keita Machida) and Chota(Yuki Morinaga) where mysteriously ported into a different version of Tokyo called the Borderland and only chosen people must play a life-threatening games in order to survive. There, Ryōhei Arisu will meet Yuzuha Usagi (Tao Tsuchiya) who will support him to survive in the Borderland.
The live-action version of Alice in Borderland also casts Nijirō Murakami as the mysterious Cheshire, Ayaka Miyoshi as An, Dori Sakurada as Niragi, Aya Asahina as Kuina, Shuntarō Yanagi as the Last Boss, Yūtarō Watanabe as Tatta, Ayame Misaki as Shibuki, Mizuki Yoshida as Asahi, Tsuyoshi Abe as Kuzuryū, Nobuaki Kaneko as Hatter, Shō Aoyagi as Agni and Riisa Naka as Mira.
Alice in Borderland will be directed by Shinsuke Satō (live-action film BLEACH) and will be written by Yoshiki Watabe, Yasuko Kuramitsu and Director Satō. And Japanese production and visual effects studio ROBOT (live-action film Assassination Classroom) will produced the live-action series.
